Can someone suggest alternative option other then cast partial denture as the clip irritates him  for my 80 yr old grandfather for upper tooth? My dentist recommends denture due to his age and also he is cardiac patient. The problem is in upper tooth where right side bridge is now old as was done in 2002. So denture is recommended as per his health conditon and age. I want to know any other attachment is possible as this denture irritates him. Gums are strong so full denture is not recommended. Kindly suggest a option which may fit in tooth 24/7. ty

Hello, Implant is a good option. You will have to get full x-ray (OPG) done followed by CBCT. If the qualitiy and density of bone is good Implants can be done.

In my opinion dental implants would be an ideal option. We need to get opg done -( full mouth radiograph ). If ideal bone support is present, then he can go for implant supported denture. That would be a fixed treatment option.
