One of my tooth is half decayed, I went to see the dentist and after the session he asked me to go for tooth implant. I'm really confused to get tooth implant or crowning. As, tooth implant is really expensive. Suggestions please?

U can give a trial for Root canal treatment+ post and core+ cap. If it doesn't work out, then go for an Implant or a bridge after tooth extraction

Hi, implant is a good option but tooth can be restored by RCT if more damaged than post can be given to save the tooth, its a type of screw inside tooth. Implant should be considered as last option because extraction itself is the last option.

Implant is very esthetic but expensive But if your tooth is half decade it can be save if i can see the xray of tooth then i can say for sure Half decade tooth can be restore If its pulp infected then rct followed by crown is also a fantastic option If tooth str. Is lost and cant support crown then rct followed by post and core is another option Extraction is very last option saving a natural tooth is far far more better than replacing it Because no one can replace the art of mother nature I suggest have a xray for tooth and take second opinion Or send it to us we can tell you if it can be saved or not

If tooth is in restorable condition then all efforts should be made to save it. Take second opinion regarding saving the tooth. If it is not salvageable then implant is the best mode of replacement of any tooth in present scenario.

According to the x Ray it's seems to be that it can be treated by rct followed by crown It's better to get 2 nd opinion before jumping to implants
