No sir..  Extraction will be done under local anaesthesia..  So there will not feel any pain while extracting the tooth.. But  u ought to have the prescribed medications prior to and post extraction with the soft diet..

Under normal circumstances anesthesia helps in complete numbness of tooth and surrounding structures and patient will not feel any pain while extraction.You have to follow post operative instructions.Take antibiotics and analgesics for next 3 days.
