Caps are not required in every case after root canal treatment and the best judge for this will be the operating dentist..... root canal treated teeth do not develop gaps in between in due course of time..... this happens due to weak gum and bone support of the teeth, which is independent of the root canal status of the tooth..... please get a proper clinical examination done so that your dentist can guide you with the best treatment options present in your case as of this moment....
