Took Amikacin injection in pregnancy
My last periods date was on 09.03.2018, had UTI for which, as per doctors suggestion, took Amikacin injection along with ofloxacin tablets for 5days from 28.03.2018. this month I missed periods and pregnancy test result came positive.like to know whether this antibiotic will have any effect on the foetus.
Please consult your gynecologist.
Also to avoid future urinary tract infections start taking carrots. Safe antibiotics are given during pregnancy. Some doctors avoid unless it is serious infection. U can always opt for homoeopathy for safe treatment of pregnancy ailments
