She seems to be suffering from chronic tonsillitis which is common cause for recurrent throat pain in children. During episodes of pain antibiotics and analgesics needs to be given. If symptoms are very recurrent then surgery known as tonsillectomy may be required which is usually done after age of 5 to 6 years
