Tonoferon for 8 month baby(7.5-8kg)

My Pediatrician has suggested Drop Tonoferon(25mg/ml) 0.8ml, once a day for my daughter, as a routine iron supplement. Should I start giving her? Apart from this, she is also taking Vit D supplement, 400 IU once a day.
