Tinytret tablets and weight gain

I used to be 55kgs but after taking tinytret tablets for 12 months as prescribed by my doctor I have gained a weight of 12 kgs and i am unable to shed the weight even after exercise. When I asked doctor they told me it's common to gain weight during the medication for acne but it's been 3 months since I stopped taking medicine but still I am not losing weight.
