Time for cataract surgery

Hi My father had a cataract surgery for right eye on 8th May, 2017 (Monday). My question is how much duration we should consider to do surgery for left eye. We're confusing with the mixed opinions. We want to do surgery today. Please suggest us. Thanks Naresh

2 nd eye is usually preferred after a month because operated eye recovers fully within a month after  uneventful  Surgery but there is no harm, if you go for​ 2nd eye after a week.
