Tight calves

I have to prepare for my physical exam. But whenever I start running practice I get shin splints and tight calves. Then I have to wait for few weeks to get better.is there anything I can do to break this cycle.

In my opinion u need to do cryotherapy followed by stretching to get relieved from calf tightness... if it does improve after using this technique then u can go for dry needling to relieve from muscular spasm... in this a sterile needle is inserted into the tightened muscle to get a relaxed muscle.. get well soon take care
