For Thyroid test, which is the alpropriate test: 1. TSH 2. Thyroid Profile Test I already have thyroid and want to re-test so which test should be taken.

The thyroid is an organ which is present in all human beings. It might produce more thyroid hormone (hyperthyroidism) or less thyroid hormone (hypothyroidism). To figure out which problem you have, the TSH is a good initial investigation. If it is elevated, then you have hypothyroidism and if it is low, then you have hyperthyroidism.
