TSH must be done after 12 hours fasting and at an NABL accredited laboratory(the report letterhead MUST have the NABL logo on EACH page of the report!) (Just GOOGLE NABL LOGO to recognise the NABL LOGO).Many unscrupulous labs use logos of other audit organisations like CAP to fool potential patients saying that it is equivalent to NABL. Avoid them. Some like Thyrocare do one or two tests in NABL facilities and fudge the remaining reports! Note that only those report pages that have the NABL logo are genuine, rest are FAKE! AVOID LAB SERVICES OFFERING MASSIVE DISCOUNTS! They are obviously taking you for a royal ride!
Next Steps
Go to collection centers of reputed labs like SRL Labs, Metropolis Labs, Anand Diagnostic Laboratory or Dr Lal Path Labs who are all NABL accredited laboratories.
Health Tips
Remember, hospitals and Doctors can force you to repeat tests done at non-NABL Laboratories, but not those that have the NABL logos on their letterheads.

Do complete thyroid function test. If it's abnormal then you require medicine. TSH may be high without any symptoms.
