This is the most common mistake done by People who are on thyroxine tablets . Once they see their TSH has normalised they stop taking thyroxine tabs believing their hypothyroidism has been cured . One needs to understand that you have been put on thyroxine replacement because your own thyroid gland is not making enough thyroid hormone to meet the metabolic demands. So if your TSH has normalised it’s because you are taking replacement of thyroid hormone in the form of thyroxine tablets . Once you stop taking thyroxine tables , your TSH will again raise . Next Steps
Continue taking same dose of thyroxine.
