Should thyroid profile be checked early in the morning ? She is taking old thyroid medicines and now we need to check thyroid profile again. Should this be done early in the morning without taking medicine ?

Though timing is not critical for TSH measurement ,  best time to get the test done is before 10 am in the morning ..also you should be taking your usual dose prior to giving the test sample.. fasting is not needed ..
