Wanted to know what is meant by thyroid and if I start taking tablet when can I see the difference... My thyroid is 22 so when it wll comes to normal suppose if I start taking tablet

hello.. well generally in layman terms thyroid generally refers to hypothyroidism... am assuming your tsh levels are 22...and that is high...you should take hypothyroid medications atleast for min 3 months to recheck it again and analyse the effects of it
