Hi, we have got the blood test done as a preventative measure for my mother (60 years old). While reviewing the report we came to know that TSH is 6.63 which is above the normal range. T3 - 118 T4- 9.8 Just wanted to understand what does it indicate and what doctor to consult

Tsh 6.63 means hypothyroidism.Thyroid gland makes less thyroid hormone hence pituatary gland makes tsh.You need to strt hypothroid treatment.
