Thyroid Problem
My TSH level is at 5.79, T3-74, T4-5.3. Do I need to take medicines for the above levels. Does it cause joint pains in chest and back, as I am having too much pain in my ribs and back. My hairfall has also increased. I feel cold sensitivity, even in hot weather I sometimes feel a sensation of cold. I get frequent throat pain. I would like to know whom to consult for ? My cholestrol levels also are high.
Your thyroid report is in borderline. Can diagnose as subclinical hypothyrodisum. Since it’s marginal u don’t need treatment at present can repeat thyroid test after 6 weeks with anti TPO antibodies. So for cholesterol levels u need to follow diet and regular exercise if still no improvement can start medicines. U can consult endocrinologist.
