Thyroid Problem
My thyroid was 50 initially and I was taking thyronorm 50 for 6 months but I was not aware that I should take it empty stomach in morning.I was taking it anytime of the day.After taking this medicine for 6 months my thyroid came down to 7.61.I again consulted the doctor and doctor had increased my dose to 75 mcg. My thyroid went to 0.81 in 3 weeks.Is that ok?
Now I started taking 50 mcg for 1 month and my thyroid is again 5 but I want to keep it below 2.5.Kindly suggest the correct dose.

The dose of thyroxine depends on body weight of a person . Typically we give dose of thyroxine 1.6 mcg per KG . Since you have not mentioned your body weight. .
Also when your dose of was started on 75mcg you should have not reduced the dose to 50 again.
Once the target TSH is achieved on what ever dose the same dose needs to be continued .
Most important thing is that this tablet needs to be taken on empty stomach and there should be a gap of minimum 30 mins
