Hi I am 25 yrs old . I have thyroid and I am losing my hair and front scalp above forehead is all blank please suggest for some thing regarding my problem

Hi. Greetings. Hairfall can occur in thyroid patients due to hyperthyroidism or hypothyroidism. I wished to know if you have done your tsh/t3/t4 levels regularly. It must be tested once in six months. Also if thyroid has been maintained normal, kindly get your hemoglobin levels checked. You may have female pattern hair loss and would require minoxidil and other lotion based treatment. See a qualified dermatologist near you. Warm regards.
