Thrombossed piles

Hi sir/madam, I have small lump in anal passage near 6'0 clock position and when I consulted doctors he saiid it's thrombossed piles and advised some medicine. But later a week the pain got reduced but I can able see pus formation on top of the lump or haemorrhoid. Is this symptom of curing or something else? Please advise
