Throat swelling

I have a swelling like a lump on the left side of my throat. It's painful when u touch it, cough or move your neck. It's kind of a hard lump that's been inside starting near my ear and moving to the left of my throat. Please suggest.

You seem to be suffering from acute pharyngo-tonsillitis with cervical lymphadenitis which is a common type of throat infection. You may need to take antibiotics and painkillers along with antiseptic mouth gargle for few days for faster recovery
