I keep getting this every 3 to 4 months so I am familiar enough to say that I have got throat infection, I just don’t remember the medicine the doctor prescribed last time. Symptoms: Throat pain, irritation(I guess) Please suggest.

Hello! Your problem could be arising secondary to post nasal drip because of sinusitis, leading to throat irritation. You will need a diagnostic nasal endoscopy first followed by a ct scan of paranasal sinuses to evaluate further and determine the treatment accordingly.
