Thick mucus

Hello , i had septoplasty 4 months ago, but thick mucus difficult to swallow comes in throat making it hard to breathe ,on swallowing breathing becomes normal, CT scan PNS done, its nornal with no mucosal thickenings, should i go for mucus thinners, or what should be done? ENT doctor daid nasal passage is comoleteky clear but still i am facing difficulty ? and i am sure this thick mucus is causing the issue?

CT Scan imaging is unable visualise mucus below a certain density. So, if you have mucus in your throat, you need intranasal corticosteroid spray to heal the sinus mucosa and stop it from over secreting the mucus which pools in your nose and throat.
