The tip of my tongue is red and scratchy

Hello doctors, I do not remember having bitten my tongue or drinking anything hot, however, I can see that the tip of my tongue is red, having small bumps and is a bit scratchy. This is kind of making my eating foods a bit problematic. Furthermore, whenever I close my mouth, I can feel the tip of my tongue being bumpy and rough along with a little burning sensation right there when it touches the roof of my mouth or my inner gums. I am scared that this redness can turn into cancer. Can someone please help me out with this?! Note: Attaching the pictures here for a better reference. P.S - Thank you doctor for taking the time out to help me out with this. It means a lot to me.
