Thalassemia trait and Pregnancy

I am 33 weeks pregnant and taking 1 Orofer Xt (100 mg eq. iron) tablet and Fol123 tablet. I am having a beta thalassemia trait (my partner doesn't). Haemoglobin  -   9.25 gms Total RBC.        -    4.5 millions/cu.mm Platelet              -     2.7 lakhs/cu.mm P.C.V (%).           -     31.2 % M.C.V.                  -    69.1 f1 M.C.H.                 -    20.5 picogran M.C.H.C.            -     29.8 % Ferrittin.            -    62.3 ng/mL As my HB is low, doctor is suggesting to take IV iron (fcm 750 250 ml) or blood transfusion to increase my HB. Considering my Beta thalassemia trait, - Is there any risk in taking IV iron (will it     cause iron overload)? - Will my HB increase after taking IV iron ? -Is blood transfusion a safer option? - Will low HB (approx. 9)cause any complications for normal delivery?
