Incase of skin cut by iron, in how many hours should tetanus injection be taken - 24 hours or 48 hours?? Many thanks for ur advise in advance..

If you have taken inj TT in recent 5 years then no need to take any shot...but if you don't remember about your last dose ,you can take it now... you can take it within 48 hrs of injury...

If the injured person hasn't had a tetanus shot in the past five years and the wound is deep or dirty, I am recommending a booster. The injured person should have the booster shot within 48 hours of the injury.
