Tetanus in pregnancy

Doctor has prescribed tetanus toxoid 0.5 ml in pregnancy. But I have asked some of the medical stores and they are saying that its the normal tt injection.is it same that we take in cas eof any cut or etc. is the same tt inejction used in pregnancy also.. pls suggest
