Hi, I got a tattoo yesterday and I'm not feeling any health issues but everyone around is confusing me if I need a tetanus shot or not. I got a tattoo on my left forearm it's been nearly 16 hours. I don't feel any itchy or sick kind of feeling. I got my last shot of tetanus i don't know when but I'm pretty sure it was not in the past 3 years. Maybe been more than 5 years since i got my tetanus shot. Please let me know if i need a tetanus shot or not ? Note - And also by the time i get a response and head for a shot if required, it might be more than 24 hours i got a tattoo. Please let me know if that will be a problem and the solution.
