Hi I am a working woman with a sitting of 10 hours in office. Could you please tell me which all tests needs to be done when 7 weeks pregnant. Which all medicines to be taken. Also I have been advised to take complete bed rest during pregnancy. What are the possible reasons for the same

Complete bed rest is usually not advised unless your ultrasound suggests threatened abortion or you have had a previous history of recurrent abortions..start taking folvite 5mg once daily and get routine antenatal profile done.. Consult an obstetrician further.. Since you are in delhi you can even consult me..if it suits you.
