Please suggest before how much time gap I should maintain for going for fasting blood sugar (FBS) test and post prandial blood sugar test (ppbs) ? Can I take water or sugar medicine while going for fasting blood sugar test ?

FBS should be done after an overnight fast. PPBS to be done 2 hours after a main meal (ideally lunch). You can take water while going for FBS. Take sugar medicine after the FBS test with your breakfast.

Hi., I can understand your concern. 8 hours fasting from the last meal of the days is enough to test FBS. 2 hours gap is enough for PPBS. You can take water. You should take sugar  medicine, then only we can know the improvement.
