I was tested for chlamydia and had a postive result and took my antibiotics. However the symtoms didnt go away so i didnt another test which came back positive and was put on more antibiotics for a week. Then today i found out that the person i though gave it to me was tested negative and so was his ex but i have not been sexually active with anyone else apart from this person and then as soon as i found out i had chlamydia i immediately stopped being sexually active. So how comes i have it?

May be using dirty washrooms or may be you used personal garments or items of person infected by Chlamydia ,or sitting or sleeping on linen which had this been infected by this ,reasons are many .
