Hello ,there are two problems with thyroid ,Hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism ... Females are more commonly affected with Hypothyroidism ... Symptoms of Hypothyroidism include weight gain ,irregular periods , oligomenorrhea etc... TSH levels and T3 T4 level is required for diagnosis .. Test costs around 200 -300 .
