Can only surgery cure this problem? I have a doubt as my doctor suggested me the operation. Urgent help required!

The need for surgery depends in what your symptoms are. If simple painkillers and physiotherapy have not helped with the pain, then surgery may be the solution. The problem needs to he dealt with in a stepwise fashion and hopefully it will get better without surgery.
