Teething has not started
Hi... My son is 10 months old...But teething has not yet started.. His cousins nd all has developed good teething. So worried abt dis.. he is otherwise active and has no health complaints... Only a small white dot is seen in his lower jaw but it remains jus d same for past one month.. he is still breastfed... Plz help us..Nd tell us is der anything to fasten d teething process...

It is not a problem if teething hasn't started at this time. We can wait. Jus give a good massage on the gums with clean fingers. Teething time and the order of the teeth appears have a strong hereditary factor. So It
might vary with each kid.

some babies take longer to have their first tooth, it’s sometimes hereditary with the child’s either or both parents and grandparents also having late erupting process. You can either wait till the child turns 1 or if it worries you more, pls personally check with a dentist so that the dentist can advise you after examining the child.
