My sister had a jam fracture 4 months back. She also had surgery for that. Now she wants to do teath implant for missing tooth at that place. After doing x-ray, the fracture is clearly visible. But the doctors are saying it is still possible to do implant at that place. Is it safe to do a dental implant at a place which is still showing crack? After how many days the crack present would vanish? Doctors are saying the crack would go gradually by the calcium in body. Can we wait for transplant to happen after the crack vanishes completely? Upto how many days can someone wait for doing an implant? I have read an article which says people shouldn't keep a place in jaw toothless as that place would shrink causing problems to adjacent teeth? The x-ray photos are attached. Looking for suggestions.
