Lymph nodes are everywhere in the body- some located just underneath the skin while some are deeply placed inside the abdomen, chest etc. TB may affect lymph nodes at any site. Treatment of tubercular lymphadenitis is a very complex one considering multiple medicines needed and their individual side effects . It is done by Medicine specialist or Respiratory medicine specialist depending on clinical features, FNAC reports etc.

TB can affect almost any organ in body. Lymphnodes are part of our protective mechanism they are present allover body. Commonly neck nodes are infected. For diagnosis of TB in a lymphnodes we need an ultrasound and biopsy ( test of part of or whole of lymphnodes)
