I feel i need to take HIV test. Can i take HIV test voluntarily without consulting doctor? What HIV test need to be done after one year of possible exposure.

You can voluntarily ask to be tested for hiv. But ideally you’ll need to sign the consent form for the same. Post exposure test includes hep b, hep c, hiv I and II. The privacy and confidentiality of the tests and results are completely maintained by the doctor.
