Our central govt guidelines say covid vaccine can be taken after 3 months from recovery from covid 19. Scientifically speaking, natural COVID 19 infection gives protection. It may be evident by a  SARS COV2 antibody test. If you have high antibody titre vaccine may be delayed. It is usually assumed that this protection remains upto 3 months at least.
