What is the difference between Istafol-d and folitas tablets?... what are the used of both tablet...

Hi, Istafol d tab contains more vitamins with dha than folitas  . If you are pregnant, then take Istafol d . If trying for pregnancy, you can take folitas. Both are folic acid for given for brain and spine development of baby.

Hello! These medications are prenatal tablets and should start using them while trying to conceive and also to be continued during the pregnancy. Dosage of Folic acid and others like vitamin d differ depending on the condition of the patient.

Both are Folic acid tablets. Folitas is folic acid 5 mg, istafol d is folic acid with pyridoxine.Both are prenatal vitamins.

Folitas is plain Folic acid where as Istafol D has DHA in addition which is good for baby’s brain growth. Hence if you have crossed 3 mths then Folic acid plus DHA combination is a preferred one.
