My mother (age: 59 years; having diabetics, thyroid, asthma) got covid positive on 13th May.. Symptoms came on 12th may. 20th May onwards, She had 1) Medrol (16mg bd 3 days, 8mg bd 2 days & 4mg bd 2 days) steroids 2) Debigatran 150mg for 3 weeks CRP values in mg/L were noted as below:- 18may: 36 21may: 14.99 24may: 1.65 28may: 3.75 Post covid NOW, she has observed 3 issues: 1) Half tooth got broken while having food. {this tooth was filled one}. Is that early sign of black fungus? 2) Lower Back Right Side intermittent pain which increases on walking/ position changing. Is that early symptom of heart attack? 3) Currently having Extra sugar control medicine metformin 500 bd before food. When can blood sugar level be expected to reach at normal with only old tablets tribet 2 before bed and amway madhunashini during breakfast? Request to please guide for above 3 queries. Regards Vikram

1) tooth break is not sign of fungus.. check for sinusitis if any or do CT paranasal sinus for better view 2)low back pain right side is not a sign of heart attack But u should rule out kidney problems 3)as you are using medrol which is steroid your sugar levels will be high so don't worry. continue diabetic medications as u mentioned now.. after stoppage of medrol by tapering it as prescribed by ur doctor.. ur sugar levels will improve..
