I have white patches on my tongue since today morning and they aren't going away even after brushing. My tonsils appear to be swollen and extra red and they have tiny spots on them which are white in colour and look like ulcers. My throat hurts but I don't have any cold or cough, or even fever.

As per your description you might have developed tonsillitis..do antiseptic gargle.. visit an ENT specialist for proper assessment and treatment if required..
