Got swollen tonsil for the past couple of days. Slight yellow phlegm. Nothing more than that. Previously when I had tonsil issue it used to get accompanied with tongue irritation and fever. What medicine is best advised.

Hello there. I can understand your concern. If there is no pain or no fever or anything, doing warm saline gargles along with gargles with betadine throat garles will be enough. Buy a betadine throat gargle bottle and use it as per the directions on the bottle and do it thrice a day. If it doesnt come down by 2 days, only then medicines are suggested.
