Is there a single node or multiple ? ... Could be due to a simple scalp infection but since it's been 6 months it may require investigation like an FNAC or an ultrasound to assess it
Next Steps
ent doctor consult

That lymphnode is an indication of a scalp infection! Could be something as innocuous as dandruff. Meet a Dermatologist or Trichologist to help you out.
