Swollen foot
Met with an accidenr 2 dayz back and my right foot has swollen and left foot has injury and it has also started swelling up . what should i do ? it pains sometimes when i stand for too much time. kindly reply asap

Please specify what kind of accident was it. Was your foot run over by a vehicle, did you have twisting injury or was it caught in anything?
You need to see an Orthopaedic Surgeon and be assessed. You will need x-rays and any other investigations as appropriate.

Hello. If there is significant mechanism of injury, then please see an orthopaedic surgeon. One of the commonly missed foot injuries is Lis Franc injury that can even be missed on X-rays (sometimes you need a CT). Therefore if painful, please do not neglect. Dr M Vashishtha FRCS, dr-MV.com
