Swelling on neck
My bro has developed a swell on his lower neck which is causing him fever often. We are unable to detect as of what and which test should be done to detect his problem , which blood test or scan is required. Thank you

Hello, from what u have said I suppose the swelling may be lymph node. When we get viral fever, oral infections or tuberculosis our lymph nodes get enlarged and may cause pain. Kindly consult a general physician , let him examine and decide further management. U may need to get CBP, malaria, peripheral smear and depending of probable cause FNAC with gram stain and AFB stain from swelling may be required...
