Swelling in scrotum after hernia surgery

I had a surgery on 05/09/2017 and after one day I fell some swelling in my scrotum. when I tell my surgeon about this, he told me that this is common and it will reduce automatically just wear frenchie briefs. Please tell me solution

You take Arnica 30 4 pills 2 times a day for a week. If still not better have to consult your surgeon
