Hi there....as in thus case ...there is root fracture which is much below the gum line...so RCT will not be a successful option...better to go for removal followed by either implant or bridge ...(artificial tooth) Take care ...!!!

It is fractured below the gum line and in such a case a root canal will and cap will have very limited life ....good chance it will fracture again. So best to extract in this case.

Posting an x-ray like this would make clinicians decide the appropriate treatment and for this case extraction.

Hi no option ...its fractured horizontaly...needed to get extracted..after that options from removable partial denture to fixed prosthesis as like bridge or implants are available...best of luck take care

Hello, as seen in x ray, tooth is fractured horizontally so no chance for tooth salvage it has to extracted. May be your friend is not using that side of jaw for chewing and thats why she is not having pain. Swelling is due to infection in fractured tooth. Hi as seen in the x - ray, the tooth which is moving is broken (first premolar). As the broken portion is below the bone level, tooth removal will be the treatment. It cannot be saved by root canal treatment. After the tooth is removed, swelling will subside and after a month or two, you can get the tooth replaced. Regards.
