I had grade 2 strain in my calf, then made mistake and walked in uncomfortable position with limp and strained my Achilles' tendon and foot, foot swelling is very very painful, coming down but very very slowly, doctor advised 4-5 days rest, already been 6 days, physiotherapy started yesterday, he is using ultrasound treatment at home Want to know if ultrasound treatment is effective or not ?

Hello there, Is it a confirmed diagnosis of grade 2 strain? Ultrasound treatment coupled with topical emulsion is 50% more effective than normal US....also the parameters ie settings of US has to be according to the condition.....hopefully all care is been taken in that sence. Regards
