Swelling after circumcision

It has been one and half month circumcision was done. Left side of penis is healed but right side is still swollen. Doctor adviced to apply coconut oil on swelling area. From past 15 days applying coconut oil but swelling is still there. How much is maximum duration of healing. How should it be taken care of.
