Hi. I understand your concerns. Asthma is chronic and a common problem causing symptoms. At your age it could be asthma. Consult a pulmonologist for the same as you will need to undergo pulmonary function test which is needed for diagnosis and also to assess severity of asthma based on which treatemnt can be started. To add a few things... if you are obese, it can be due to obstructive sleep apnea.. if you snore then get checked by a nearby pulmonologist.. also if you are aged, it could something related to heart... you need to then consult a cardiologist..
